Potty Training Update and the Car sickness

Image
He still gets carsick, but we've been doing some travelling each day for 15 minutes at a time and the last week, he has not thrown up. Of course, as I noticed that yesterday morning, he threw up in the late afternoon.  But perhaps he can get better with more exposure.  Potty training, it's not perfect, he's 6 months old. But we find when we let him out every 2 hours, he knows to do his business and stays dry. There have still been accidents, but fewer.  As a mother of a toddler, I happen to be up in the middle of the night, so last few days I've tried to let him out around midnight, and he pees, then he's dry until the morning about 5am. All good vibes and he's just so darn cute and chill and just the most gentle pups I've had the pleasure of having.  He tells me when he needs to go, he gets extra squirrely and is more adamant about attention, otherwise he'll just chill somewhere else.

Learning to walk

He's got a lot of energy, and he'll chill as soon as you chill. But taking advantage of as much summer as we have left. He does pretty good on a leash, will pace with you and curious. He stops a lot, but we're teaching that walks are walks and he did well by halfway through the walk.

Where did RIngling go?

He's really the most chill pup we've had. I had my niece and nephew here this weekend and as we wrap up the night and we're playing a card game, we realize it got super quiet. Usually that's trouble, lol. However, once Ringling knows everyone is safe and settled, he will go to his cool spot under the dining table in his own quiet corner and pass out.  We expected to find something chewed up, or an accident somewhere. Even maybe we accidentally closed a room door on him. Nope....just passed out under the table.  He's a perfect combo of hyper and chill when you need it.
